About Manor Planner

Manor Planner is a free, browser-based layout tool for Manor Lords, the medieval city-builder and strategy game by Slavic Magic. It lets you sketch a settlement before you ever break ground in-game — so the first timber you fell lands exactly where you meant it to.

What it does

The heart of the tool is a grid you drag building footprints onto. Because Manor Lords lets you draw the rectangle of each burgage plot yourself rather than dropping a fixed shape, the planner mirrors that with drag-to-size plots. Around them you can place the buildings that make a town work — marketplaces, granaries and storehouses, wells, churches, workshops, mills, and the defensive structures that guard the manor approach.

A walking-distance heatmap shades the grid from green (a short walk) to red (too far), so you can keep burgage plots inside the reach of a market stall or a well and push production out to the warm edges. When a layout works, you share it with a single URL — the whole plan is encoded in the link, with no account and nothing saved on our servers.

Who it's for

It's for anyone who wants to plan rather than bulldoze: new players trying to avoid a mid-game teardown, optimizers chasing Level-3 burgage plots, and content creators mapping a build to show off. The companion buildings reference and layout guides cover the spatial rules — marketplace radius, plot yard sizes, year-one ordering — that make a plan hold up once the game is running.

Who makes it

Manor Planner is built by Valin Studio, a small independent studio that makes free, no-signup tools for games and tabletop hobbies. It's an unofficial fan project: we're not affiliated with Slavic Magic or the game's publisher.
